1962年7月13日，经国务院副总理聂荣臻批准，将北京工业卫生研究所、华北原子能研究所及山西工业卫生研究所三所合并，组成“华北工业卫生研究所”并定址山西省太原市，故将这一天确定为澳门太阳集团建院日。

　　1977年12月1日，改称“华北第七研究所”，对外称“华北辐射防护研究所”。

　　1983年10月7日，更名“核工业部第七研究所”，对外称“核工业部辐射防护研究所”。

　　1988年10月22日，经国家人事部批准，改名“澳门太阳集团网址2007”一直沿用至今。

　　July 13,1962, Nie Rongzhen, Vice Premier of the State Council, approved to combine Beijing Industrial,Hygiene Institute, North China Atomic Energy Institute and Shanxi Provincial Radiological Medicine Institute into North China Industrial Hygiene Institute.

　　December 1,1977, Renamed the North China Institute of Radiation Protection.

　　October 7,1983, Renamed the Institute for  Radiation Protection, Ministry of Nuclear Industry(MNI).

　　October 22,1988, Renamed the China Institute for Radiation Protection(CIRP)
